Safety instructions:

  • do not short battery
  • do not deform or damage mechanically
  • do not leave unattended
  • do not heat up or throw into fire
  • do not dry on a radiator or in microwave oven
  • do not store in the car at extreme heat
  • protect from frost
  • use an appropriate charger
  • follow all safety instructions of the manufacturer


  • do not mix different batteries in a pack
  • if you want to store unused NiCd-/NiMH batteries a for a longer time, they should be discharged prior to storing, ideally until a deep discharge protecting circuit between batterie and load switches off
  • note: NiCd-/NiMH batteries after prolonged storage may require some charging and discharging cycles until they reach their full capacity again
  • Chargers for NiCd-/NiMH batteries should be able to charge a pack within 1-3h. Too low charge currents, especially in multi-cell NiMH packs, can cause a failure in the Minus-Delta-V end of charging detection and thus damage the pack from overcharging
  • do not use a charger that is designed for NiCd cells for NiMH cells
  • Lithium-ion batteries start ageing at the factory and have a lifespan of 3-5 years. To avoid buying of old cells, you should contact a trusted source with a high volume.
  • Lithium-ion cells have to be balanced prior to assembly - if the protection circuit does not include this function
